Кибербезопасность

In our daily lives, computers, phones, and the internet play a crucial role. We share personal information with various websites and expose ourselves to potential risks. Cyber threats are pervasive and can impact anyone. A cyberattack happens globally every 39 seconds. Hackers are individuals who attempt to gain unauthorized access to computers and accounts. Their primary goals are to steal passwords, financial data and commit identity theft. The Internet has a dark side despite its many opportunities. Crackers or black-hat hackers use technology to commit crimes. Viruses are malicious software that can infect and damage computers. Malware includes viruses, worms, trojans and spyware. Ransomware attacks encrypt files and demand a ransom payment. Such attacks can paralyze businesses and individuals. Identity theft can lead to severe financial loss and damage to reputation. To protect ourselves we should install security software. We need to create strong passwords at least 12 characters long. 2-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security. Public Wi-fi networks are often unsecured and dangerous. When using public Wi-fi it is recommended to use a VPN. Make backup copies of your important files regularly.
